Hello Everyone,
From these pictures it will become somewhat clear why i have not been present for so long. last thanksgiving, i was in a near-fatal car accident with an 18-wheeler. I broke my neck, shattered my foot/ankle, and sliced the tendon in my elbow. I was able to work briefly as the graphic designer for a local furniture company while wearing a walking boot. However, I was suffering for severe pain each day and was not seeing any indication i would be able to walk without a boot. A few weeks ago, I had a second surgery on my foot/ankle and am now going through a whole new recovery. I do have some work from the furniture store i will be posting shortly, for now, this is one of my halloween costumes for 2011 (from the movie Black Swan). stay tuned for my "White Swan" costume for next week's party.

Since I'm on the job hunt, I've re-formated my resume to be a little less MS Word and a little more visually pleasing. I know some people really hate the deviation from traditional resume formats, so I'd love to hear what others think.

I've been working on a new logo and the basic shape is making it's debut in the resume, more versions of it are coming your way once I have some time to work on it a little more.

The evolution of Lipstick Girl

Back in '07, I designed "Lipstick Girl" for a T-shirt, and then used it for my junior art show. I got an email the other day from my good friend Kara, asking if she could use the image for a promotional item for a sex shop her and a friend are opening in China. Unfortunately, I lost the file in the crash of '08, but I was able to make what I believe to be a much better version. the colors are changed to match the logo.
here's the original, I only have a small jpghere's the new and improved. for doing it it one night, I'm mildly impressed.

Sunday, I'll be leaving for a ten day trip to my hometown of Houston, Texas. Because I didn't get to visit for the winter holidays, I'm going now and am so excited to see my much missed friends and family.

I still don't have any days off in the week between my tow jobs, hopefully Ricky's will hire some more people and give me another day off, besides the two I use to work at M+S.

I took my laptop in to do a data recovery, unfortunately in my case it would cost $600, and there's no guarantee anything would be recovered. that means my entire college career is lost, as well as the book I was working on. I'm most upset about the book, because I put a lot of work into it and was excited to eventually get it published. However, I realize there's no point in feeling sorry for myself- now it's time to start over and to do all new illustrations.

Since my last entry, I acquired a nasty kidney infection, and I think another cold as I was getting over the first one. The anti-biotics my doctor gave me crippled me almost as badly as the initial infection. I had severe muscle weakness, bouts of panic, nausea and dizzyness. I will never be taking Levaquin again, ever. click that link if you want to be scared out of your mind.

A few days after taking my last dose, I've finally gotten my stomach to feel relatively normal, and I'm very grateful for that.

I actually still have cold symptoms, but they're slowly fading.

I just did a search for my ingenious phrase, "peace is war," and found out I wasn't the first smarty to think of it. darn that stinks.

See, my previous design used the army slogan, "be all that you can be," this was okay, because my stationery design is sort of a social commentary, so it's all clear on the copyright front. However, "peace is war" is a social commentary already, and I'm not commenting on that. so, I guess I'm stuck with my original. oh well, it was fun being happily naive while it lasted.

How working retail ruined my shoe life

I used to waltz around in heels, most of the time wearing flats and changing on the bus; but working retail had doomed me to my most comfortable shoes at all times.

Tennis shoes and my most comfortable flats killed my feet after just 3 hours of standing. By the end of the day, my feet were swollen and aching so badly, I couldn’t relax.

My co-workers swore by Crocs, but I just couldn’t go there, that was surely shoe-hell.

Then I got my new schedule, which included 12 hour days. I gave in and went to a few shoe stores to check out the Crocs. I decided on a pair that was actually kinda cute, I didn’t care much for the back-strap, but I did what I had to do.

What a wake-up! I didn’t think about my feet anymore, when that’s all I could think about before. Why all flats can’t do this, I don’t know.

I then upgraded. As an investment in my working life, and myself, I ordered two pairs of great-looking crocs from the website.

They’re adorable in person, and I am never massaging, elevating and soaking my feet as I used to everyday. I wear the boots unfolded.

But it’s not quite a happy ending

I never want to wear heels anymore, and rarely choose other flats over my crocs! I have so many great shoes, but my feet are so used to the cushy lifestyle, they can’t go back!

Hello readers,
forgive my absence. I've taken on a permanent position at ricky's and work in one of the largest locations, so I've been getting used to that. I also just got an internship with Marschallin+Sachs, which I am very excited about. I start next week!

My hair is now red, with a little bit of blue. Ricky's makes it impossible to leave my hair alone, being surrounded with so many products, and such a great discount. I had no desire to go red, until I was checking out a customer on the register, and he said that the blond wasn't doing anything for my skin tone, and that red would be fantastic. I couldn't stop thinking about it the rest of the day so I just did it. I actually never posted this picture which shows how it looked before the red-a added some subtle white and yellow. I've been trying to catch the sun in order to post the red it is now.

I'm trying to get better about updating!

new stationery design

This design is in the early stages, but I really like the way it's going. It's kind of a departure from my usual short/chubby/childish style. The way I've depicted this woman is actually the way most of my designs start in my notebook only to be modified into the style you've seen in the past. In my opinion, somehow, the tall and lean look suits this particular design. do you think it works?

Now that Halloween is over, i have time to update!

Lines were out the door for a few days at Ricky's Halloween Superstore, but now that the season is over, the temporary store is no more.

I've been offered a permanent position at Ricky's, and went in yesterday for a "re-interview," they'll be calling me in a few days to tell me where I've been placed.

Though I didn't have time to do anything myself for Halloween, I did wear this mask for the day. I love it so much, I'll probably use it again next year.

Since I've been working two days at a regular Ricky's, the Manic Panic has gotten the best of me. The pink should actually be red, so I'm going to redo that part, and add some white and yellow streaks. I took this picture after walking in the rain, so my hair is a little out of sorts.

Yesterday, friends came from out of town to go to the Hanson concert, and to the taping of Good Day New York, in which Hanson would be a guest. The picture above turned out really badly, so I had to make it black and white.

Unfortunately, throughout the day, I progressively lost my voice. My throat doesn't hurt, but I am achy and fatigued. It was a shame I couldn't sing along at the concert, but I still had fun.

Back to work tomorrow, hours are crazy. I miss you, blogging world.

So, the craft fair was kind of a bust, but it was my first time selling at one. Also, I didn't get any of my stationery from my broken to sell, so I only had prints, 3 kinda badly printed t-shirts, and one notepad.

I sold one t-shirt, to a very nice man who planned to give it to his 16 year old daughter. I made very little off of the sale, since the print job wasn't the best.

I had fun though! I had the pleasure of sharing a table with craft fair veteran Michelle, who owns Dirty Loves Clean. She makes fantastic cold process soaps.

hey guys, sorry for the long pause. Work is so physically straining (standing for 8 hours a day) that I've been coming home and plopping into bed. the sleep doesn't seem to help either.

I got some T-shirts I ordered from Vista Print, and I'm not too pleased with the quality. Of course, maybe the illustration i sent was a little to sight and full of tiny details to work properly on a t-shirt.

I will be selling the t-shirts, some of the crying children prints, and one note-pad at the art/craft fair on Saturday the 4th of October. Anyone in the New York area should check it out!

I turned on the debates, but they soon got too boring to watch. America might just want to turn the TV off and jump in the shower to...well, nevermind. I thought they would prove entertaining, but the presidential debates have turned out to be more captivating, in my opinion. I do feel kind of bad for Sarah Palin; I don't think she should be a Vice President, but I also don't think she deserves all the flack she's getting. I believe that a man of the same qualities would be far less humorous to the public.

These two just aren't coming out right...the first one is problematic because of the colors. I always have trouble with blond hair, not to mention colors in general. After I figure the colors out I can add the finishing touches. The second just...isn't right. I don't know why exactly.

Today was my first day of work...I'm working in a temp store only open for the Halloween season; that means we had to unload everything and put it on racks. my feet hurt like hell, but once we can open the store things should get better.

My other ring broke today...I think they don't like my job, the first broke before my interview and the second before my first day.

now I'm going to relax and get to bed early-- another hard day of work for tomorrow!

Since I have a job now (official first day is this Thursday). I have time to focus on my art I'm doing a craft fair on October 4th.

I'm really excited and have started a new series of prints to sell.

The Crying Boy paintings have been an interest of mine for some time. Pictured above is my own small but beloved collection. These were popular in the 70's, and hold a strange legend- apparently, if you have a crying boy in your house, it will burn down. It is also said that having a picture of a crying girl to accompany the boy will abate the curse.

I decided to do my own series of crying children, in honor of this fabulous and almost extinct subject.

here's my first one, I'm not sure if it's finished, but I wanted to give you an idea so you could give me some feedback. do you like the idea? hate it? I'm still going to do it, but I love criticism! Be sure to click to enlarge.

I GOT A JOBBBBBBBB!

I got a job! finally! of course, there are drawbacks. the pay is absolutely laughable, and it's only for the Halloween Season. However, it's a job. I'll be doing some freelance stuff and hopefully setting up a little online store on the side. If everything works out, they'll see how amazing I am and keep me on beyond the seasonal title. Thanks for bearing with me through all of this, I know it's been so boring reading about all my interviews! Now we'll be able to get to the stuff we came here for (art)!

Of course, the employment God's had to take a sacrifice, and that happened to be my beloved ring on the way to the interview.

it's ceramic, and I guess it finally had enough of expanding and contracting due to my finger sweat, and decided to break. I love these rings, I had another break but it was due to a fall. This one has lasted me quite a while, and it served me well through the many outfits it complimented. I still have one with a Malachite stone, though it's not as go-to-able as this one. I think this one was moonstone (correct me if I'm wrong) and had a beautiful rainbow running through it. These rings are very cheap (under $10) and SO comfortable. I'd venture to say these are the rings for those who can't stand wearing rings (though I'm not one of them!). They simply hug your finger. I super-glued my precious back together, but I'm not too heartbroken if it doesn't work, I'll just have to subway myself over to St. Marks Place and get another (or two) and some wonderful Japanese food, and of course some Max Brenner's.

On another note, I need a TV, darn it! I have trouble drawing without it on. and using my computer for movies is a pain (especially since it's so heavy, and not in optimum movie viewing position!). I've bee browsing Craigslist, but it's so difficult without a car...and If I bring it back in a cab, will I be able to carry it up the stairs? One thing about NYC, everything is ten times harder.

Please forgive my abscence on the comment scene lately, my reader has been 1000+ for quite some time due to my vacation and my laptop's undesired vacation. it's frankly intimidating, and I've barely made a dent in it.

I really am so excited about this job, if only because my poor little mind isn't so overcome with worrisome thoughts, and is free to stretch it's creative wings again (corny, I know; couldn't seem to think of any word to replace "wings")!

I found a listing to do two line drawings of "dog products." I thought this sounded cool and easy so I gladly started the required skill test of drawing a dog collar. For lack of anything else to post, I though yall might be interested in seeing it.

First I was out of town, then my laptop gave up on me. But now I'm back in business with a new, fancy desktop! It's HUGE and fantastic. hopefully, this will encourage me to sit up straight instead of slouched over my laptop in bed. I want one of those kneeling ergonomic chairs, but that will take time and money.

I'm still searching for a job. but there is good news, two places I went to today were actually hiring!!! None of that, "we're not hiring but you can leave your resume with us...if you want," passive aggressive bull, people actually needing some employees! Thank the heavens!

I have so many ideas for new designs, and want to get back to work on my "Four Seasons" project, but I can't let myself until I have a job. so hopefully, someone will hire me soon, and I can get back to what I really love.

I'm back in town from a wonderful wedding... but my little ibook G4 has finally decided to call it quits (these things always happen at the most inopportune times, don't they?) something my pocket pc (phone & internet) did just before I left. My means of computing is now left to my roommate's computer, until my new desktop arrives. bitter-sweet I say.

I called Forever 21 to check on my employment status, and was told not to call, that they would call me. right.

I went job hunting again today...AND I GOT AN INTERVIEW! finally. lately no one has been hiring, so this is a very welcome change. It's at Forever 21; now I have to figure out what to wear!so this is what I wore:

these earrings are seriously awesome. i put them on and it was instant love. the kind of love where you feel bad for your other earrings because you know these will be a go-to for a long while. I highly recommend getting yourself to H&M and paying th $5 for them! they also come in silver.

One of my favorite blogs, Peculiar Beauty, featured this awesome book called, Great Big Beautiful Doll. i immediately ordered a copy from Amazon. Imagine my surprise when my invoice had a sweet note and drawing of Stella Jolles Reichman, the author and subject of the book.

!!! so cool. this will live inside the book forever, i've never had an amazon seller do anything like this before. btw, you should really check out that blog. even you you aren't into vintage beauty, it's good for a laugh!

a new friend sold me this awesome vintage head piece for a fraction of what she bought it for! I can't help thinking that I'll wear this at my (eventual) wedding. does anyone have any tips for storing it? I want to have it out, and unfortunately I don't have any foam heads laying around.

that same new friend graciously gifted me with some great earring stands she was trying to get rid of. those bow earrings are from the dollar store! unfortunately, one bit the dust already. hopefully the others will last a while. that HUGE shot glass holding my makeup brushes? also from the dollar store. it's awesome.

yesterday I finally got around to organizing my jewelry from the move! I have an awesome jewelry chest from ikea that i use, but because i can't afford those gorgeous velvet lined organizers that are designed to nest inside drawers of these types, I had to get pretty creative. Hopefully someone can get some ideas for their own organization!

this is above the chest, I used a dollar store belt organizer to hang my necklaces

Finished Business Card

Finally! I finished my business cards. I went ahead and ordered them as well.

Here's the final product, somehow it's a little fuzzy online...but it should be fine in print. do you like it? (I also added the design as a header for the blog...check it out!)

this is the one I worked on for so long that just wouldn't turn out right. really horrible if i do say so myself.

and here is my first design, which I grew out of before I could even get it printed. It still holds a special place in my heart!

I went ahead and ordered this piece of stationery in a note pad, to see if I liked the finished product enough to sell it online.

I currently use VistaPrint but was wondering if anyone had any good and decent priced places they like to use for printing? The difficult thing is, I want things like stationery in certain sizes printed, full color, small envelopes and on regular paper. it's actually rather uncommon to find what I want.

My interview

I had my interview today, and I think it went pretty well. You know, except for the usual feeling of being an incompetent fool. Why do interviews make us feel/act like this?

anyhow, they did ask me how I would go about fixing jeans with a large hole in the butt...I have done that before but I usually just stick a huge calico patch on...or throw them away (durrr). So, I didn't exactly know how to go about answering that question, but I think I did an ok job. apparently, many people come in asking for that particular alteration.

I really do want this job, and I know I could definately handle the alterations.

Tuesday shenanigans and life updates

Yesterday was a very strange day.

Before I went job-hunting, I went locksmith hunting. I needed some keys copied, and since I had not seen a locksmith or hardware store around, I specifically looked one up on yellowpages.com

Well, I found no locksmith at that location, so I wandered down a few streets until I magically came across one. Now, I tend to sweat a lot, especially walking outside in the heat, mildly stressed and lost. I request a certain amount of copies for each key, which the keysmith (is that a word?) promptly ignored...or didn't understand. Then, the man behind the counter asked if I had ridden a bike or walked there; I said I walked and he replied with, "you're sweating," and pointed to his face. thanks, sir, I hadn't realized that. I've just been mopping my brow with this handkerchief because I like the sensation.

I explained that I get hot easily, and sweat a lot. I normally would have said something like, "yes, it's hot," but I was caught so off-guard by his declaration that I just started babbling unimportant truths.

he even felt it necessary when I was leaving, to tell me to stay in a cool place. thanks bud.

after the job-hunting, i stopped by a discount store to pick up a drill bit to finally put my bed together. I stopped by the grocery store to pick up a 6 pack of coca-cola...knowing full well it wasn't a good idea. During the process of putting my bed together, I drank a total of 3 cans of coke. I was so frustrated by the task that I justified my actions. I usually like projects like this, except there were no instructions, and the whole thing was completely counter-intuitive. pieces of the bed that should have mirrored each other ended up being entirely different, and required different screws, nuts and what-not. Of course, i did not realize this until I had most pieces put together. needless to say, I spent a lot of time un-doing and re-doing. oh yeah, and charging the electric drill.

at least my mattress isn't on the floor anymore.

I've totally scrapped my last business card idea, and have been working on a new one. Honestly, choosing an identity for yourself must be one of the most difficult things one must ever do.

My friend has asked me to design a tattoo for her. It's a Dumbo Rat in art style...perhaps napping.

job hunt

For the past few weeks i've been fruitlessly seeking illustration and graphic design jobs. It's finally come down to this- retail or homelessness. Or two really angry people (I bet you can guess who they are)

anyhow, today I meandered around Brooklyn (meandering is impossible in Manhattan, which is why I love my new neighborhood!!). I knew I wanted to apply to this amazing little shop down the street called Maiden Hong Kong

it's basically vintage clothing and accessories altered and revamped to add a hint of eastern flair. There are also artists who use the shop to sell their jewelry...among other fantastic things (said in Patsy voice).

There is a lot of sewing involved, which is perfect for me. Those who know me will understand, as they were around for many a vintage shopping haul, and custom tailoring of pieces (usually right before an event). This place is seriously perfect. Wish me luck!

for dinner or a party this floral frenzy agrees with chic vintage black for a Gatsby like setting. No need for a large bag when you're sick of the ringing and rely on others to take your likeness. To add to that, are nails painted black, no need for CHANEL, just use NYC.

New York is so different from anywhere else. I locked my keys and my wallet inside my apartment; apparently, it's become acceptable for a super to live a ways away from his duties. A black car pulls up beside me containing my friends for a rescue. We're whisked away to a part of Brooklyn that houses hipsters in large, grey industrial buildings. The apartment is stifling, the tenants un-believers in air conditioning. The windows mimic those of a greenhouse and many are blacked out. a minuscule plant manages to push itself through some cracked concrete on the windowsill. We three climb to the roof, knowing eventually the musicians in the hall would seek cool breezes like us. It all happens as it should.

Though, in the morning I sit on the steps of my own Williamsburg apartment, smelling the urine on the concrete, unsure of it's origin. I call and call and call, attempting to wake a slumbering roommate who answers after an hour, to let me in.

I've been furiously working on my new business card designs and personal identity, without much luck.

To reiterate, here is my old business card-

to tell you the truth, I really would like to change my name! (the one i use for my work). I never really wanted to use "Laura S. Taylor," but with time running out and a lack of ideas, my real name had to substitute.

I think I finally have found an alias that would serve my purposes perfectly- Lux. Ever since I was younger, I dreamed of naming my future daughter Lux, I loved the name so intensely...and promptly forgot about when brainstorming my identity. The problem is, I already have my website, using the name Laura S. Taylor. This is quite infuriating, and is clearly something that i will have to think more about.

another issue is, that Lux is also a popular clothing brand sold notably by urban outfitters. I do have a few items of their clothing, but haven't been able to locate them. The reason I would like to, is that I want to see their branding on the tag (I have a sneaking suspicion that it is too similar to my prototype). I did a google search but didn't come up with much

anyhow, this is a prototype for how my branding would look if i ever did decide to change my identity to Lux

and here is what i have been working on, I really don't know how i feel about the progress so far

and finally, you might remember my idea for the new cards, involving patterned wallpaper
here is a sketch i'm going to use when rendering the pattern, and so far seems to be the only part of my idea that is working out

I do have everything "done" except for the wallpaper, but it looks horrible. It really does. It resembles a cheap business card for some strange boutique involving lots of rhinestones and owned by a divorced middle aged suburban woman. which is fine, but not what I'm going for.

SLOW SLOW SLOW

sorry readers (all 3 of you), that it's been slow lately. I'm afraid it'll be slow until I can get my life together! and by life, I mean apartment.

The way our place is set up, is that my roommate's bedroom is one one side of the living room/kitchen, and my bedroom is on the other side. the problem with this is, that there are no windows in the living room! Thankfully, both bedrooms have two large windows, but the living room has no possibility for an air-conditioning unit. Trying to filter cool air from two window-units through to the living room is absolutely helpless in the heat-wave (well, not anymore, but for the past 3 days). Also, Butter has to have it 75 degrees or cooler...or he'll die of a heatstroke. seriously sad stuff.

Long story short (or not) all the boxes are in the living room, the dark, humid, suffocating living room. therefore, it's so much easier to seek sanctuary in the air-conditioned-bliss of my bedroom, than to brave what we'll call, "The Bat Cave." Of course, it doesn't help that we still do not have a microwave, so the oven is constantly being used, and heats up the place even more.

So I've been unpacking a box here and there, worrying about Butter, dying of heat, worrying over the mail, ect., ect.

that said, we ARE getting a buzzer installed! don't get too excited, as it won't feature an intercom...but hey, I can get packages possibly perhaps maybe a tiny bit easier now!

I just so happened to have a Bloomingdales gift card, so a friend and I trotted off to Lexington Ave, where we got ourselves into a heap of trouble!

yes, it was worth it! What a beautiful bronze (not gold???)!!! SO gorgeous and sparkly...like a demi- foil finish. Golds and bronzes are probably my favorite color category for nail polish, they're always right for special events, and look just as chic for everyday.

Moved In

Hey everyone,

I'm finally moved into my Williamsburg apartment! And yes, it was horrible. I've been sleeping it all off these past few days, in preparation for the unpacking, and the job hunting. But I must confess, the apartment is wonderful!!!

My room is so nice! It's big, and Butter is having an absolute blast being able to stare at me all day (as opposed to being stuck under the bed). He's so happy and always wants to play!

There are a few negative things I've discovered, however

The floor is slanted...not good. I've already had some accidents with the nail polish remover (I have enough of those with an even floor, TYVM!) and a box of tacks.
no buzzer...seriously. If I want food delivered, I have to walk down two floors and open the door. that pretty much defeats the purpose of delivery...no? Also, how will I know if the delivery person is here? What if they don't have a cell phone? How did people function without cell phones!? I'm so confused.
bath tub is short- if I want to take a bath...I'll be pretty scwunched up
no microwave (eailly fixable)

I really am befuzzled concerning this buzzer situation...I need to speak to some other tenants and see what the deal is.

My dress for a school event and another version with polyvore

So, at the end of every school year, our school has something called a Boat Dance. basically, we all dress up and dance on a boat that cruises around the island of Manhattan. A few weeks ago, I attended my last Boat Dance ever. It was very sad and lovely. anyhow, I wore this beautiful A.B.S. by Alan Schwartz dress, so when I came across something similar on Polyvore, I decided to style it in a different way.

here is me in the dress with accessories. Not shown- long envelope-sized clutch, gold flats.

This the the re-done version, with a similar dress.

I still used a gold shoe, but chose a platform instead of a flat. This is because the dress isn't floor-length, so shoes matter much more (irl I need to wear flats to a dance, or things are gonna get really bad, really fast).

another similar choice I made was the envelope clutch, but this time I picked a square shape instead of a rectangle, and this one is over-sized, unlike the first version.

For the actual event, i struggled a lot with jewelry. I wanted to wear a necklace but it kept seeming like too much; when i tried changing the ear-rings to something smaller (but still dangle-y), it still didn't look right. In the Polyvore look, I added a beautiful necklace and stud ear-rings.

Keep in mind, I'd have the buttons undone on the second look, similar to the first (though the first is actually cut low like that)

This vintage oversized clutch I bough years ago and had only used once before this spring. It says Mr.T on it in gold-toned metal

San-X stationery thing I got at an awesome little store in brooklyn (near my new apt). best part? They buy from local artists...so I'm going to set up a meeting with them soon...once I find a good printing place.

Crying children prints. I absolutely love these...read about the curse of the crying boy

I have an unhealthy obsession with nail polish. one of my favorite brands is Brucci, it's cheap and good quality. I like weird colors like this one, which is called "Taupe Matters." You can find Brucci in many Rite-Aids on the east coast

Bag Balm and J.R. Watkins Hand and Cuticle Salve
as you can see from the previous picture, my cuticles are very dry...but these two products are amazing. Bag Balm has been a beauty staple for many years, as well as an udder protectant for cows. You can find Bag Balm almost anywhere lotions are sold; the tin is so iconic and a pleasure to look at. The J.R. Watkins is greasy and annoying, but extremely effective. I really just love Care Bears...and I still fantasize about living on clouds. I got this at a dollar store in my home town of Houston, Texas a few years back. i don't know what it's supposed to be, but it had a hole in the bottom so i forced it onto a pen cap, and have ever since been supporting it's inappropriate weight while doodling in class.

of course, Netflix is amazing. For my final paper in my class "Images and Social Construction of Menstruation," I wrote about menstruation in horror movies. This gave me an excuse to change my Netflix subscription to 5 movies at a time...it's really awesome and I'm having a hard time giving it up. Anyway, Ginger Snaps is a movie that I researched for the paper and it happens to be a low-budget Canadian cult movie, i.e. amazing. Now I've rented two sequels...it's exciting.

I've loved Fafi for a long time, she's probably my biggest inspiration
